Snecma Propulsion Solide: your partner for your high temperature treatments tooling and equipments


Snecma Propulsion Solide produces its Sepcarb® carbon-carbon composites which have been developed for industrial applications.
Among remarkable characteristics, carbon-carbon keep they mechanical properties at very high temperature (over 2700 °C). They sustain severe thermal shocks, they are non brittle materials, they are very light, insensitive to mechanical and thermal fatigue, their thermal expansion is limited and do not have persistent deformation.

Their exceptional characteristics make them very well adapted for a wide range of tooling applications in the industry such as for steel making industry, heat treatment of metals (low-pressure carburizing, annealing,…), brazing, silicon making industry,... They bring significant advantages compare to graphite or refractory alloys when used in these very demanding processes.
